Mineral Makeup for Spring and Summer

I failed in the beginning to pay close attention to seasonal styles. I was gently reminded by a Facebook follower that I needed brighter colors. I immediately went back to the mixology and created a new spring/summer collection of eyeshadows. I also made bronzer tonight. I have a few more colors to mix up and I will have a complete spring/summer collection of eyeshadow, blush, and bronzer.

So what is popular right now?

I did some research into this seasons color trends and the results were pretty consistent. Blue and green is key to eyeshadow. In addition to blue and green:

• and various shades of blue/green
• turquoise
• jade
• aqua
• teal
• sage

I have blues, greens, a pretty turquoise blend, and a yellow. I just mixed an orange called "Sunburst." I have to take pics early next week of that and my bronzers.

What about foundation?

The spring and summer trends include a flawless and shimmery glow. Harper's Bazaar called it, "sicilian summer" effect. This is why I made bronzers. My mineral foundations are also perfect for summer. The last thing you want on your face is liquid foundation and pressed powder in the hot weather. The sweat doesn't compliment the ingredients.
