I could set still for a whole day and not make makeup. I tried. I put my table away, cleaned up, got organized. Then, my friend Sarah wanted a custom-color. I pulled out my stuff, some recipes, and started formulating a color to mimic MAC's Nylon. We are close. I just need more shimmer. Back to the makeup table tomorrow. I also couldn't put off starting mineral foundation. I tried my first mix tonight. I made a natural sheer base filler and my ivory color grind. I made a silky, smooth, light-weight foundation that offers great coverage. I tested it on half my face and I was astonished at how well it covered! I've posted it on my Facebook

I really have to focus on sales and marketing now. I must move my product in order to buy more supplies. I found great buys on eyeshadow and foundation containers today. I'll be able to keep my pricing down on product because the packaging is so inexpensive. My foundation will probably cost $9.99. It will be well worth every penny. Don't buy Bare Minerals. It sucks. Too expensive and a icky product. My base filler is talc-free. I use a vegan substitute. It feels wonderful on the skin and is not irritating.
My mom is visiting tomorrow and she will have a chance to see what I've accomplished. I hope to talk her into buying me this grinder I want. It's meant for baby food but it's perfect for grinding minerals. That is one of the most important parts: smooth minerals for wear. Otherwise, I hope to really focus on selling my eyeshadow. I am sad that I haven't had any orders but one. I am excited about how my product applies and stays without all the harsh chemicals and irritants in regular makeup. I made it affordable because frankly makeup is too damn expensive.
I hope sales look up soon. I haven't really advertised yet. My business cards should arrive tomorrow. I need to work on my website. Eventually, I will get paid help for linking to search tools. For now, I've gotta go watch House of Cards before my boyfriend goes to bed.
Love,
Jenny
