You know what the hardest part is?

Just doing it. I hate to say this but Nike is right! Just doing what you need to do is the hardest part. I am 35 and overweight. I need to get healthy. I have a lot of things I need to do to get healthy. Just doing it is too much! So...I am doing it in chunks. Slowly. Today, I started a sugar cleanse. Basically, I am not eating any sugar if I can help it. I took my sugary coffee away, no milk, and I won't eat any refined sugars, even splenda. I've read a lot about artificial sweeteners lately and it scares me. Once my 30 day cleanse is over I will use truvia and stevia. Those are all-natural substitutes that don't raise your blood sugar and cause abdominal fats. I also bought a yoga mat yesterday at Ross Dress 4 Less and downloaded some free apps on the Ipad last night. I plan on giving that a try soon.

I know I need to quit smoking. That is the hardest "Just Do It" commitment. There are many reasons besides just getting cancer. I do take birth control and my risks of blood clots are bad after age 35 and being a smoker. I hate how much money it consumes, my clothes smell nasty, and it's a waste of precious time too. I am under significant stress. That is why I want to implement my dietary goals first and start a little walking and yoga. That way I am incorporating a healthy lifestyle because giving up my unhealthy one all of a sudden. Soon, I will have tons of makeup to make, marketing to do, and classes to attend. I need to keep busy!

I can't wait to get my hair cut, eyebrows waxes, and nails done. This will make me feel awesome! I put on a dress today and a necklace. Sounds normal for most girls but I don't dress up. This is something else I plan on working on. I want to look good! Thrift shopping and clearance shopping will be key since I am broke and going to be losing weight. I lost 50 pounds last year and have gained back at lease 15 pounds. I don't want to gain back anymore. I went to the consignment store today to drop more stuff off and got to talking about my makeup. People were excited to know it was talc-free and vegan friendly. I will be able to sell it at Second Time Around!

I ordered my business license with the State of Oregon last night. I need to call my insurance company for a quote on liability insurance. Going to do that today or Monday. Got to start a tax file and keep track of my expenses for this years taxes. So much on my mind! For now, I need to eat something and get ready for my beauty appointment. I really am going to try and blog more often. Especially add pictures and videos eventually. I'll have plenty of time when I quit smoking.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Love,

Jenny
